In the srvPowerControl thread I have posted a piece of perl code that asks for player status using JSON. It was intended to check for player status over mysqueezebox.com but it works also with a local server (or should with minimal change.) You are welcome to 'hack it' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?48521-Announce-Beta-version-of-SvrPowerControl&p=470590#post470590) and try it for yourself over random sleep/wake cycles and see how this fares. Anyway. I want to say that I am always glad to see people trying to make advances in LMS power management.
