You have turned bitrate limiting to off in iPeng? I didn't understand these decoder settings, could you post how exactly you set them? I know we considered enforcing compression over 3G to counter some complaints from users who did not have lame installed and saw their data plans exhausting but I think we never actually implemented that with the new playback (the old one had it).
