Yea, I believe I can't change that. The Globalsearch is a server-provided menu and the server determines the sort order. iPeng almost never sorts by itself (the only exception, track listings for several albums, can get pretty slow if the library is large. My "Artists->Various Artists->All Tracks" menu contains roughly 50% of my library and can take up to 2 minutes to load completely, before that's done, each and every album might potentially be incomplete.
