I don't really think it's WiFi, at least not lack of bandwidth, router issues... maybe. If you say internet streaming is perfect, is this radio or also services like Spotify or Deezer? We can't, Apple removed all support for the older ARM6-based platforms from their development tools so your only choice as a developer is to not support old devices or not support iPhone 5 - not an option, iPhone 5 is already the most widely used device with iPeng.
