It may be necessary to keep a machine running a legacy OS release and
utilities in order to keep LMS working. This isn't a problem for me
since I run LMS on a WHS V1 server which I use only for LMS and
uTorrent. There will come a point where such legacy OS's go out of
maintenance and become a security hazard.

Also isn't there something about the Duet needing mysqueezebox.com
present to complete a factory reset? I've never quite got to the bottom
of that.
