doesn't actually help much to compare to itunes, as itunes is using the art it has stored in its own internal database rather than the art in the tags (or a .jpg in the album folder). Try opening some of the duplicate art files in mp3tag. Right click a file that seems to have duplicates and select extended tags. What does the panel show about the art. If only one art file, should show 1/1. If more than one can show 1/2, 1/3, etc. Download mp3tag here: http://www.mp3tag.de/en/download.html p.s. I'm not sure what you mean by seeing duplicate art. Maybe you are seeing duplicate SONG files.
