No I did not. I read the warnings in http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/PulseAudio/Documentation/User/WhatIsWrongWithSystemWide/ and didn't want to go down that road unless it was absolutely necessary. I have a completely standard 64-bit Precise Pangolin ubuntu installation, so changing something like that seems a bit excessive (or dangerous as that link suggests). bpa wrote: > If so, then uninstall PulseAudio may be the simpliest. I'll try that then, uninstall PA, install ALSA instead, and try again. bpa wrote: > I found what looks like a set of clrear instructions here. > > http://www.hecticgeek.com/2012/01/how-to-remove-pulseaudio-use-alsa-ubuntu-linux/ Thanks a lot again! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 12.yakir's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=60850 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49584 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
