The server is on OSX, the player is a Boom or SB3, the controller is iPeng but I tried pretty much all others, too, with similar results,
I'm back at the office, in the environment where I saw this behaviour before. And it's working now... I did update to the latest 7.8.1 nightly and accidentally wiped the cache folder. I'm not sure whether this helped the issue or not. But I'm now getting full size artwork. Are you still not getting artwork? Could it be a simple timeout? SP (on the Touch) would probably report it.
