3 tweeters and one woofer in the speakers (surround system) and amplifier in the subwoffer.... well, it is called "alpha" for a reason ... and it goes without saying that all I do is at my own risk - not yours.

Maybe 15 or so, but repeated twice in that log file for some reason. For instance, "Rack IHD (Int blue) A" is SBS player on anlog jack blue if built-in Int-el card, of my player in the "rack" in main media room. Most of these are software players (SBS/LMS automatically exposes all players as DLNA controllable). But interestingly, your sbs2dlna does not create players for them (which is a good thing, as it would make no sense) Only hardware DLNA units are oTV oLab and oBedroom - my 3 o(nkyo) receivers - in bedreoom, lab and next to the TV. philippe_44 wrote: > Also, the volume set at 100% is an LMS command that is accepted by > squeeze2upnp as long as the device is "on" in LMS. So sbs2upnp started, SBS "discovered" new player (for my oBedroom), and sent it 100% volume change? That is pretty dumb. Why does SBS do that? I must say I never noticed that on other SBS players I have (maybe they ignore it, as it's a pretty dumb thig to do) philippe_44 wrote: > There is a parameter named <volume_on_play> that prevents any volume > command to be accepted by squeeze2upnp, unless a "play" command as been > sent, which means that the user has explicitely request to play, so he > should know what he is doing. That parameter was by default at and 0 > I've now set it to 1. Good. philippe_44 wrote: > Also, you can set the <enabled> parameter to 0 in the <common> section > so that no player is automatically added in LMS. Well that woul force me to manually create players, but it would not prevent SBS from sending volume change command. So not sure how usefull that would be. philippe_44 wrote: > [edit2]: about foobar, I did not try it before, but with the upnp > extension for Michael Pujos - aka bubbleguuum) it worked for flc,mp3 and > pcm. <sample_rate> must be limited to 44100 for pcm to play. Have you > generated your own config.xml file or copied one from this forum ? I created mine, but as you can see from the first line in the log, I did not use it at that point as I was not sure if I messed something up by changing it that prevented anythign from working or not... so on last run, I just ran it with defaults. So volume_on_play was 0, and DLNA receiver was on, playing, and set to NET ... very very bad luck. I'll wait for new version tommorow, then I'll let you know if I had any succes with Onkyos or FooBar.
