Hello, Few Question / suggestions for your consideration:
- Is there a chance that same LMS/network streaming bridging mechanism could be used, with AirPlay library (libshairport) in addition to the libupnp? This would allow the same concept to be applied to various devices/receivers (Marantz? Yamaha? B&W speakers, Apple Airports, iPhones, Apple computers...) without UPnP support. - Attempting to play MP3 file to Foobar on Windows, Foobar opens a window "Playback error": Unable to open item for playback (Not Found (404)): "http://192.168.1.76:49152/LMS2UPNP/00-01-02-03-04-09-idx-1.mp3"; Is streaming to Foobar working for anyone? - May I suggest that a command line flag for conf file creation to be added (for example --writeConfig), as it will not be possible to type into the LMS plugin, and current method is quite confusing and error prone? - Would it be possible to have a method of matching de device based on properties other then UUID? : <device> <match>name:*Bedroom model:TX-NR* manuf:ONKYO</match> ... parameters... </device> <device> <match>model:foobar*</match> ... parameters... </device> For instance, I have 3 Onkyo receivers, and have to change same settings for each one.
