1) with AirPlay (AirTunes as far as we are concerned), which is a straightforward "stream-to" RTSP based UDP, it will be much easier then with UPnP. No renderer/controler/server separation, just a transmitter and receiver. The only bummer is that streams to any certified AirPlay devices have to be Apple Loseless encoded. Opensource implementations naturally accept most other formats 2) OIK, I'll try Foobar more 3) Display a message "Please wait, preparing to save configuration file...". I am not actually sure why is this done at all. I dont remember seeing any software generating default configuration files in this way.... and I've see a lot of software :) Most apps distribute default configuration files with application package. I see the need to find out UDDIs, but if you implement property matching from #4, that will be unnececery in 99.99% of the cases. 4) Great! Thanks! Will make life much easier 5) I'm mostly interested in DSD streaming... for instance, a very popular Oppo 95/105 accepts both stereo and multi-channel DSD streams over UPnP. This currently works well with FooBar and jRiver. LMS has built-in DSD support for about a year now. Is there a chance lms2upnp might strream DSD one day?
