1) Well, I wish it will be simple, but LMS has a certain way to send the audio stream, repackage and reformat it and also expect a set of information in return from the player, with a proprietary control protocol that *have to* be respected. So it will still have to be a gateway, I'm afraid 2) Foobar should be straight forward. If it does not work, then don't bother with the Onkyo, there is something abnormal at the core 3) You don't *have to* use this mechanism and I could provide a default config file with general and <common> section. it is just a way to ensure that the parameters are correct and following changes I make during the alpha phase and in case you want to regenerate "fresh" you can. The experience so far also show that people make very often mistake in creating their own files and then throw tomatoes at me ... so if I require a file to be here to start with, it is usually painful. But when I'll have the "generic" as well, you'll have both options 4) 5) Sure thing but I want to stabilize the core first, avoid experiences like the one you are going through currently :-) LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2.
