A service manifest does the same as the init-skripts in linux. These are files used to start a program as a service at startup. Starting up of sq2u as a service works well, but you need the process id of sq2u to shut it down. When there is a file containing it you just have to do a kill FILECONTENT and the programm is shut down. The slimserver.pl is the main script you need to run when you want to start LMS on linux/unix systems. I don't know if it exists on nas systems etc. The slimserver.pl file resides in the top directory of LMS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chincheta0815's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=42904 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102496 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
