Your Synology may have ffmpeg installed, but I think the default config
of bpa's plugin requires "flac" also to be installed on the system. 

If you can connect to your NAS via ssh, this command will tell you if
flac is present:

If it returns nothing, then "flac" is not installed.

If you look back through this now very long thread there may already
have been a suggested workaround for Synology NAS.
