OK Alternative thread, that's what I meant.

I have no idea if we know for sure that faad.exe works on all versions
of Windows, but there have been no reports of problems. And unlike
Linux, Microsoft is still shipping 32 bit libraries for 64 bit versions
of Windows. There are a ton of 32 bit binaries out there for Windows and
Microsoft know this.

We do know faad.exe for Windows works with all versions of LMS, it
hasn't changed in years. Until this recent bug fix it was literally the
same binary.
