I haven't got any useful tweaks yet, sorry. The experiment I was trying
wasn't going to work anyway - when I looked again at the code. And the
errors I'd been seeing had gone away by then (fixed by the BBC it
seems).

I was going to have a more serious play some time, but I'm a bit too
busy at the moment...
