A breakthrough!....I had UPnP disabled on my router (for security reasons). I tried enabling it and now I can play MP3s on the Onkyo. I'm not sure whether I want to leave UPnP enabled on the router, but at least I now understand the problem.
I have a new problem however (!). After the receiver has been turned off (and on again) I can't get it to re-appear on the list of LMS players unless I restart the Bridge plugin. Is there any way around this?
