I've lost track of what Operating System you are using, but it should be possible to run without the router needing to support UPnP.
On my Linux system I have the following ports enabled on my LMS server, based on what the firewall says is needed for UPnP: 1900/udp, 5431/both, 80/both, 49152/both. Could you disable your server firewall for a few minutes and test again? If it works, I suggest you open one or more of the ports I mention above. People have told me this is unnecessary except for 49152 (or in your case 49156 if that is what you still have in the 'network socket to use' field) but I couldn't get my system to work without at least 1900/udp. I can't help feeling some other UPnP servers are getting in on the act and confusing things, and even changing some things on the fly. LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp & ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay (control point) to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 15.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver. Have a Touch with EDO, plus spare, but unused. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PasTim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41642 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102496 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
