BTW, a nice side-effect for me of trying JRiver is that it provides a 24 bits pcm option, so finally I may able to have a test platform for this :) - I'm also able to see the flac header problem on chunked mode, maybe I'll find a solution for this one as well. JRiver seems to behave like my Sonos and a bit like your Marantz: flac cannot be transmitted in any other mode than "large file size". All other file formats work in chunked, but not flac. Maybe I'll either be able to investigate or JRiver developpers will be more reactive than Sonos LMS 7.7.2 - 5 radio, 3 Boom, 4 Duet, 1 Touch, 1 SB2.
