Im not sure were talking about the same thing You probably have a more complex solution in mind. Right now, I use local sound output on my computer + wireless airplay from Daphile/Shairtunes2 (hifi system) to watch movies. Everything is synced by the computer (not the receiver) : Airfoil (Airplay transmission + Sync adjustment) + Audio hijack (Invert stereo + Sync adjustment for local sound) + some delay in VLC. Its not strictly multiroom but its perfectly synced with the local sound (down to the millisecond) and I could also add my old Airport express to the mix without losing the sync (I would have to adjust the sync of the airport in Airfoil). Its rather simple but its what I expect from a good Airplay receiver : Stay synced AND work with the same delay each time you connect to it. That said, its true I cant stream anything to many receiver from a true Apple device (that cant handle sync adjustment). I'll be curious if you have an elegant solution to do that. Once I press "play" on the Daphile webUI, I got all the music I want from the Youtube app on any device. I have noticed Youtube can stay connected for hours but if I'm pausing the video for 10-15sec I have to go back to Daphile WebUI and press "play" again. (Obviously video and sound will never be synced). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gregbny's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=64704 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103783
