Regarding the cover art URL, if the renderer is expected to get it itself, the URL is for 'localhost', which is obviously wrong.
My base config has 127.0.0.1:3483 as the server address. I've changed that to be the external IP address, and cover art now works :) I may not have mentioned before that the Artist metadata only seems to include one artist, even when there are many. I don't know if this is new, or is the only data LMS provides, or what. It's not a major issue, LMS 7.9 on VortexBox Midi, Xubuntu 14.04, FLACs 16->24 bit, 44.1->192kbps. LMS plugin UPnP/DLNA Bridge to MF M1 CLiC (to MF amp & ESLs) & Marantz CR603 UPnP renderers. Minimserver (server) & upplay (control point) to same & to upmpdcli/mpd PC renderers. Squeezelite to Meridian USB Explorer DAC to speakers/phones. Wireless Xubuntu 15.04 laptop with firefox/upplay or Android 'phone with Squeeze-Commander/BubbleUPnP controls LMS/Minimserver.
