I was modifying the delay setting in the player's option as you noted but they are ignored by any airplay receiver. I'm currently testing in 2 AirServer receviers and a Apple TV3. For some reason the appleTV3 can't play any tracks or stream. I'll continue my investigation and submit more comments...
