WaveIput plugin just takes ALSA input device - it is up to the user to decide what that ALSA osurce is - mic ,line-in, audio monitor etc. Using Cjromecast suggestion would work but 1. The delay may be unacceptable if you pause/play/volume control from the Andoid App that is casting rather than LMS assuming players are all synced. 2. Audio quality may suffer since you line in has to convert analogue to digital unless you are using the chromecast digital output into a spdif input on LMS server but digital will bring other issues.
