Since Mac server is discovered by players - it means router settings are OK and discovery mechanism is working for players.
AFAICT If the players have never discovered the Linux server then it means that Linux firewall is blocking receiving broadcast UDP packets on port 3483 so LMS server never "sees" the discovery requests from players. What Linux distro ?
