For 1,2,& 3, are you asking if it is a good idea to have separate steps in the installation process prompting if they should be installed or if you should include them for free with PLUM? If it is the former, I would think that should be accomplished on one step, similar to a MS Office custom installation where you can select or deselect individual components. For the latter, that's a tough one. I would like to see you guys make some money going forward on this one.
I agree with Dick that a good all purpose upload handling CFC would be a good feature. How about the process designer talked about early on in the beta's? Is that something you are going to pursue or are you going to leave that out? I thought the diagram example you had in the help file was one of the best modeled examples I have seen which was easy to understand by general business people. As far as modules to include, I can't think of any others right now, but will give it some thought. First question: does this sound like a good idea? Second question: what should one or more of those "additional modules" be? I'm seriously thinking about including PlumForums, PlumCatalog/PlumCart, and these additional modules for free along with Plum, so that Plum could literally have just about everything you'd need (except custom business processes and graphics, of course) two minutes after launching the Plum IDE. What do you all think? Also, I'm going to take Sean Corfield's advice and rename Plum IDE "Plum Generator" in V1.1. Thanks in advance for your feedback. :) Respectfully, Adam Phillip Churvis Member of Team Macromedia http://www.ProductivityEnhancement.com Download Plum and other cool development tools, and get advanced intensive Master-level training: * C# & ASP.NET for ColdFusion Developers * ColdFusion MX Master Class * Advanced Development with CFMX and SQL Server 2000 ********************************************************************** You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from lists, and you can change your subscriptions between normal and digest modes here: http://www.productivityenhancement.com/support/DiscussionListsForm.cfm ********************************************************************** ********************************************************************** You can subscribe to and unsubscribe from lists, and you can change your subscriptions between normal and digest modes here: http://www.productivityenhancement.com/support/DiscussionListsForm.cfm **********************************************************************
