Ok, the past might not be an indication of correctness :) I don't want
to make an elephant out of a fly, but I think this is something the pmc
should decide: who votes should take place in the various sub projects.
I'm fine with voting in this list and cc'ing the pmc or the general
list, but again in the end the pmc has the responsibility for a release.
So the pmc as a whole must be aware of each release.

I cc'ed pmc on this response to get a response from there. My proposal
is to let a
vote for a sub project take place in the mailing list of the sub project
but require to cc pmc. I don't think we need something more complicated
than this.
Everybody agrees?
