I do not like them in Pod-Simple. I think if they are in Pod-Spec, it's a little easier to move Pod ahead without touching core, because all(?) pod tools are dual-lived anyway. My preference for canonical copies, in order: Pod-Spec, core, Pod-Simple -- rjbs
