> Danae nodded, "I guess I should grab some clothes." She sighed, "And my
laptop." she looked apologetically at her, "I'm a bit of a web junkie." she
laughed at her self and went over to her house. The police milled about,
looking confused. She glanced in the bedroom, and noticed the body wasn't
there. She shrugged, figuring that one of the police people had removed it
already. She went up to her room and threw stuff in her bookbag, then
thought better of it. "I suppose they'll still make me show up at school."
she sighed, and crammed her clothes into an overnight bag.
Frances waited with Rachel for Danae to return to the house. "If she
remembers something or mentions anything to you about last night, please
give ma a call. Oh, you might have your hands full with her. She's used to
doing as she pleases, from what I can tell her mother didn't do much
parenting." She prayed that had nothing to do with the woman's alleged
death.
