Julia, not much one for chairs to begin with and giving Nick a quick teasing
smile, sat down on the floor in front of Kat and took a big bite out of
pizza before chewing and then chuckling at what she had said about Nick.
What Julia had heard was bits and pieces from people since she arrived...
and somewhere else she couldn't place but didn't really dwell on.
"Well..." she then leaned forward comradely "that you make a lot of people
here happy and are very special. And you can actually stand the smell of
Nick's Marine omelet without having to leave the kitchen."
Okay the last part was to get Kat to giggle and even get Nick to loosen up.
She even went a step further and nodded up at Nick as if to tease him into
doing it "You think he's ... " she mock gasped, eyes widening "You think he
doesn't like pizza? He hasn't even touched it!"

Kat burst into a fit of giggles this time. "Maybe, but I've seen him eat it
b'fore." She glanced up at Nick still giggling, "I like her just like she
is," she announced and she really did like her. She wondered if Miranda
would too. "Julia," Kat said catching her breath. "Can I ask you
