Patrick watched his family and, despite the fact Rachel was getting upset, he couldn't help but smile.  She did get cute when she got that way.  He remembered a time or two teasing her that maybe she had been the Irish one instead of him.   Knowing he couldn't be seen but knowing he didn't want Rachel or Kat to be upset with the other he moved over to just over Rachel's left shoulder, speaking quietly, those words he used to tease her with, knowing it would drift within her thoughts "The Irish in me is kicking up in you."   Then he looked at Kat.  He would have his own talk with her about keeping the truth from her mother, but for now, considering he was able to see them this close, he just wanted them to take a breather and....... and he wanted to see them smile.
