Kat was making the most of not being in school this day. She had talked
Rachel into letting her go swimming and was now out int he garden coloring
at one of the glass topped tables that were scattered about. She was trying
to recreate the place she had been to see Daddy, but wasn't having any luck,
so she switched to the beach nearby, adding a rainbow, which of course had a
pot of gold at the end. She was not working on a tiny leprechaun, guarding
the gold on the beach. She wondered idly of Derek knew he had those on the
island.

Patrick found her there and looked over her shoulder before smiling,
brushing his spiritual fingers across her hair and then looking back as the
sound of cars could be heard from the front of the house. He thought for a
moment and then knew, by some feeling within, that one of the people there
was Julia.
So where was Rachel? he wondered before looking back at his daughter.
