Kat felt a chill in the bright sun light, but it was soothing one. "Hi
daddy," she said softly. She too heard the cars approaching, it sounded
like a lot of them. Three cars pulling up at once was practically some kind
of a record here. She wondered what was going on, so she slipped out of the
chair and started towards the house. entering through the back door and
hurrying to the foyer to peek out at the crowd. "amybe there's a party I
didn't know about, " she said out loud to herself and Patrick.
