It was then that Patrick looked at Julia and then at Derek. It was almost
as if a lightbulb or something clicked and the two were there again. But he
stayed next to Rachel and admitted quietly "I know you have, honey. And no,
I can honestly say I know it's not the house and we both know it was Connor
last time."
He remembered that and what had happened and sighed quietly. It had taken a
lot to get Connor to finally let his sister go "I don't want to jump to
conclusions, but it felt like... well like it wasn't her exactly that did
it. Julia, Derek?"
He was asking for their input as well.
Julia blinked and lightly shook her head, looking at the two before looking
at Derek "I can watch her when others can't... but I want to know more about
her friend and activities Kat may be doing that would hint at this. And do
either of you know anything about this Miranda girl?"
"I never saw her before she turned up on the door step," Derek admitted. "I
assumed Rachel had met her before." He turned dark eyes towards Rachel.
"Was I incoorect?" It just didn't seem like her to allow Kat to play with
some unknown child. "We should look into her background, family, see what
we can find."
