"I never said I thought Kat's intentions were malicious.  I'm sure they were
not."  He wasn't sure certain this was a good idea or not though.  That was
a lot to expect of a child.  To be able to keep that sort of promise without
yielding.  What if the chain broke while she was playing?  That wouldn't be
her fault, but it would be enough to put her in danger.  "I'm just saying
that we should be cautious."
