"No," she responded her tone have some reflection of regret in it.  "We
can't talk to each other without fighting anymore.  It just isn't worth it."
She sighed heavily.  "I'm not even sure when things changed or if I'd just
imagined them being good at some point when they really weren't."


"They were good," Reese answered, remembering "I just don't think he feels
he's worthy of good if you ask me.  Not that I'm feeling sorry for him
because he could change if he wanted to.. but with his childhood and the way
he's acting now.. it's like he's on a mission to screw himself up."

She looked around and saw that it was clear before looking at Sam and
whispering "Want to see something I came up with totally by accident?"
