Sam:
Samantha watched her friend swim out, making sure she got out to a safe
distance safely. After that however, she lay back on the sand staring at
the sky. Reese needed privacy, not an audience. She folded her arms behind
her head and began the long process of figuring out what in the world she
was going to do about her own life. It was just a mess, it was usually a
mess, at least on the personal level. Professional, she was fine, no
complaints, no problems, she skated along there without a single fall. Why
had the rest of her life not been so easy? She sighed watching the stars
and every now and then catching sight of steam rising and floating towards
her on the ocean breeze.
