OOC: forgive the ooc in the middle of the post, I don't remember who was with
the rpg when it was on yahoo and when I first did the essence scene, so to
explain why Kat wouldn't hear him regardless of his being her father, I'll do
this post to try and explain....
Miranda heard the call, leaving herself in two places at once she lifted the
top off the urn containing her's and Kat's essences...in the urn the part of
Kat she had stolen pulsated brightly, while Miranda's who's was just as
bright enveloped it and entwined it, it was almost finished, by merging her
essence with Kat's she had created a bond with Kat that was as strong and
slowly growing stronger than that of any relative, once more, Miranda's
essence was in the process of totally enveloping Kat's in hers..once this was
accomplished, Kat would *belong* to her..she would be in Kat's every
thought..thoughts of others would become less important to her...Miranda
chanted an ancient spell over the two essences, they glowed brightly she
covered them..then uncovered the other..
Derek's essence lay in the other urn. He'd given permission unspokenly for
Miranda to take it by touching her of his own free will when she came to the
legacy house. Now Miranda held her hands over the urn containing his
essence..a bright light flowed again from her hands...and more of Miranda's
essence escaped into the urn and started a bond with Derek's.....soon she'd
have control of an adult......
