Derek's opinion was to let her ride the whole thing out and maybe she
wouldn't do this to herself again.  No, he had little experience with detox,
but he was a bit weary of substituting one addiction for another.  "I doubt
that would be any better," he commented.  "Opium is just as dangerous as the
rest."
