"I'm glad it worked out so well, though I'm surprised that ll the school did
was give you detention. You were rather lucky," he told her. "Seems to me
they expell children for such threatening behavior these days."

"There were 7 of them, one of her. After a little pressure where a couple
of them admitted to what was happening... well let's just say they were
relieved first that I didn't swing, second that I accepted detention and
they weren't being kicked out of school or being charged."

She looked at him and shrugged, looking back over the water "I know I
shouldn't have went after them like that which is why I didn't fight the
detention, but something had to be done."

She stroked his arms in half thought before turning to kiss his cheek and
admitting with a measure of relunctance "We should be heading in."

And to be honest, the only reason she was relunctant was leaving the beach.
Other than that, since she was going to be with him, she really didn't care
where they were, except that both had to be up in the morning to take care
of things.

Which reminded her "You know... since I'm not officially not supposed to be
working on Legacy things why don't I come back after dropping Kat off and
help with Foundation things... I mean if you need help that is."

She didn't like the thought of Derek possibly getting into trouble for
letting her into Legacy things and hadn't really thought of it prior. She
should have but with the security risks.. she had just kicked in to
automatic mode and started work on the system.
