Derek winced, but only slightly as the dagger like claws dug into his flesh.
The fire thrower was pretty well out of amunition by this point. So he
lunged forward striking the vampire hard at the base of his neck, as the man
stumbled, Derek pulled out a dagger and stabbed him in the heart. The
motion made the cuts on his arm sting terribly, but he did it with as much
force as possible, suddenly wishing he'd kept teh sward and given this to
Julia instead. A sword would have been much quicker easier and cleaner.
"Nice shot." Nick grunted at Milo's move with his cane before stepping the
man's pace up some and all out sprinting toward the opening and yelling back
to Derek "Haul assssssss Derek, I'd rather face the vampires again then tell
Julia you couldn't keep up!"
He and Milo crashed through the crypt door and out to the area where the UV
was parked. Alex was already there and struggling to get the passenger door
open.
Nick headed to the driver's door and opened it, unlocking the other doors
and spotting the sword in the driver's seat.
"Get in!" He yelled at the others as he picked up the sword and ran back for
Derek. As soon as he was back inside and spotted the other man he tossed
him the sword "Head's up!"
"And I already planted my surprise, when Alex first grabbed me." he informed
Derek "Let's close shop!"
