Derek jumped over the prone figure of the vampire and started up the tunnel
behind Nick. Unfortunately, two others rushed him from behind knocking him
down and he lost his grip on the dagger he had. One of them, a middle aged
blond man, grabbed him by his neck and pulled him of the ground. Derek
tried to remain calm and did the best he could to inflict damage on the
thing by landing a few well placed kicks in areas that were even sensative
to a vampire.
The creature dropped and he landed hard on the floor scrambling ot his feet.
The other vampire was close and lunged for him just as Nick tossed the
sword. Derek put all of his attention on that and managed to catch it
somehow. He swung it throwing all of his weight behind it and decapitated
the second one. He then headed for the enterance as fast as he could. The
adrenaline he felt masking the aches and pains in his body. Once they
reached the SUV, Derek looked at Nick and said one one word, "Now." He
wanted that place gone, immediately before anymore could get out.
