They had just entered the house and Alex spotted Julia at the stairs "Okay."
She wanted to talk to Julia and so went with Nick toward the stairs,
stopping at the foot of it and looking up at her friend with a torn,
apologetic expression.
Julia followed her friends' as they made their way over to the stairs and
met Alex's gaze, only to reach out and hug her, then parted enough to stroke
her hair from her face "Don't, Alex. Don't blame yourself for what
happened. You seem to forget that when it came down to it... you resisted
and even wiped the blood off of your fingers. Alex you made the decision
even under his influence that you weren't going to hurt the baby or me.
That, girlfriend, took strength."
"Let Nick take care of you and I'll come up later to bug you. Just take
care of yourself." She said, kissing her friend's cheek "Or I will be
upset."
