<<sorry for the late post but it has been a very very verrrrrry bad night.
Did I mention that it's been a bad night?>>

"Let me first offer congratulations; a baby..." Kristin's smile grew.

"And it's nice to meet you - I think the social politeness of saying 'I've
heard a lot about you' is pretty appropiate in this case," she chuckled a
little.

"I think everyone is a little overwhelmed," Derek told her as he retrieved
some juice from the refrigerator and placed it on the table beside Julia. He
wondered if he should tell her that they were getting married.

"Imagine being the one that got to go through it," Julia added with dry
humor, sliding the plate over to Derek with a sandwich on it before making
hers "Although I don't think it's overwhelming."

Her gaze became thoughtful, looking at Derek, before answering "I'm very
thankful and awestruck."

"Well, I think it's great news," Kristin was still smiling. "It's about
time we had some really good news around here," a thought struck her. "And,
a reason to celebrate!" Heading back to fridge, remembering her original
mission, "I know I'll regret this, but...who's up for some chocolate?"

Julia was mentally drooling over chocolate strawberries when Kristin said
that but knew they didn't have any so suggested the white chocolate she was
sure Philip was going to want, herself just going to break off a little
piece of it. Then she thought of Kat and Rachel "Has anyone heard anything
about Rachel or Kat? They were going to hang out together for the day, with
the nurse.."
