Philip looked at the two and stood "Why don't I leave you two alone to talk?
I could use a stretch."

He picked up the book and notepad he had been using and moved them over to a
side table.

"And please, don't leave." he said as he got to the door and turned "Julia
wanted te make sure all of you were okay and I'd feel better if ye weren't
rushin' off upset."

He left it at that, looking at the stairs that led to the third floor.

He had heard the ruckus and decided he was going to stick his priestly nose
in to their business. Of course it had fallen quiet again but he wanted to
make sure. He just hoped he didn't interrupt during a, moment.

So he started up the stairs and calculated where he had heard the door and
headed toward the bedroom he was pretty sure the door slam had occured,
knocking gently.

Sam:
Sam looked up at the priest, perhaps it was all those years in Catholic
school. But she knew she'd be staying and only because he asked. She just
couldn't bring herself to go against the direct wishes of a priest. She
sighed and nodded, "all right Father," she replied softly. Folding her arms
on the table and burying her face in them. She wanted to go home to be
alone. And now she was stuck here and Reese was acting as though she hated
her.

Derek:
Derek started slightly at the soft know. Sloan hadn't had the nerve to come
back had he? No, he wasn't that stupid. Glancing down at Julia and then
back to the door, Derek decided he better find out who it was. "Come in,"
he called out clearing his throat a bit.
