Philip watched Julia head upstairs and knew better than to step into this one.    Of course, he couldn't help but smile to himself as he went back into the kitchen and sit back down at the table before commenting wryly "Aye, things are getting back te normal around here.  I would, um, give Derek some time if any of ye wish to speak to him.  He and Julia are, as we say, discussing th' matter."
