Kat jumped up and ran into the other room a worried look in her eyes.  Derek
followed close behind her more calmly.

"What's going on," Kat demanded scared that something else bad had happened,
but her mother didn't look upset.

Rachel was grinning from ear to ear and looked at the two and announcing
"We're going to be Aunts!"

"And," she added a little more calmly and giving Derek a 'you rascal' look
"I think Derek has something to tell you about tonight."

Julia could only grin.  She was curious how he would tell Kat and so
watched, shrugging lightly before teasing "You tell her."
