"Do you suppose Alex can wrestle Nick into a suit," he asked as he slid her
off his lap and stood up still holding her hand. The walked to the car and
he let her in the passenger side and then got in himself.
"Once he finds out why?" Julia asked with a chuckle, remembering times when
it had been near impossible to get him in one for Foundation functions
"Yup.. and if all else fails, you can all resort to the last tactic."
Which was to have her ask him. What they didn't know was what she always
said to get him to do it. It had been something Alex had bugged her about
quite a lot after Nick had shown up in a suit at a Luna Foundation party.
She grinned and sat back as he started to drive, only to admit to what it
was she used to have over him.. and still did considering she had found it
in one of her photo albums when she had gone through the chests her things
had been in.
"A picture I had kept handy. Of Nicholas Patrick "Daredevil" Boyle as a
baby in the buff."
"Derek," she added as she fought busting out laughing "Please promise me we
are NOT going to subject our kids to that."
