Trying to control her emotions, she grinned a little. "We'll just
have to see," she replied in her best Irish accent, giving him his own
words from a few years ago back.
The truth was, she just didn't know.
She took another sip of her scotch, trying to keep herself from
flying apart.
Philip couldn't help it and chuckled, a little relieved but also at hearing
her version of an Irish accent. He put his forearms on the table and the
sound quieted down as a troubled but thoughtful expression came over him
with the revelation about Jane.
They would have to leave right after the trial if not before it ended.
Perhaps they should leave in the morning and looked at Kristin before asking
"Do ye think it'll sit until the trial? We don't even know how long this is
goin' te last and if it's as bad as ye say, well I'm sure both Julia and
Derek would understand."
