   Amber had been watching the action in the corner of
her eye, with a cocked eyebrow.  Something was
definitely going on.  Amber may not be someone that
was used to be around new people, but she was good at
observing and reading those she did know.

   "I don't know," Amber said, putting down her orange
juice.  "It depends on whether or not the rest of my
things have gotten here."  But Amber liked the idea of
hiding out in her room, especially if the council was
going to be around.  "I'm thinking of moving things
around a little, though."
