Rachel looked at the couple a big smile on her face.
She was relieved all went well with the tribunal and that her testimony did
not hurt the case. She came over closer to the two of them put her hand on
Derek's shoulder then gave Julia a hug saying "I'm so happy things worked
out so well. I owe you so much Julia. Bringing my daughter back to me. I'll
never forget that. I'll never be able to fully repay you for
your part in that. Thank you." she said to the young woman. She then took
the trey Jonathan made and went upstairs to eat her lunch with Kat.
Julia flushed slightly and lowered her gaze but smiled slightly as Rachel
left, remembering the kidnapping and what had happened. She was going to
ask Rachel how Kat was doing but the doctor had already left with the tray,
so she made a mental note to go find the young girl and visit a little. It
was obvious that Rachel was doing much better which was good.
She took a bite of her sandwich and looked at the others. It hadn't been
just her that had saved Kat.
